For losers like me that like to keep it super simple, cause I am super simple this new SPRY widget finally dose AJAX the way I see it! Dumb ass easy.

I do LOTS of MGU work and why cant I just have a index.cfm?event=getNewContent fill a DIV on a page. Sure I started to write my own light weight front controller for my AJAX stuff, but heck I like to use ModelGlue.xml for my applications front end controller, not some janky one I built to handle AJAX when im developing, I am not a rocket scientist, I am a political junky that LOVES ColdFuion.

Front End Is Trying to Kill Me

I am TOTALLY tired of the front end nightmare!

Will Flex save me? I just printed out the Flex Store 2_1 and have been reading Steve Webster’s (how kewl is Webster for the name of a RIA framework creator???!?!?, LOVE IT) 6 part series on Flex Development. I think Flex will be the answer I have been looking for.

What will Flex save me from? STUPID BROWSERS!!!!! I love how CF makes making the backend easy, but trying to wrestle Yahoo UI, Dojo, or script.aculo.us, or my fav TwinHelix (MOST LIGHT WEIGHT, MOST CROSS BROWSER SUPPORT DTHML LIB out there) to solve some problem that my designers have made every time is getting to be a bummer.

F this HTML stuff, give me something that works. I think it is here.

I think I am going to try to give Reactor Blog a Flex front end.

Ill post code if it comes out.
